November 1, 2017

Developers who won planning permission to build on green belt land at Florida Farm North have been given the go-ahead to install an advertisement hoarding at the site.

Bericote Properties have been granted approval to put up a digitally-printed vinyl on an aluminium panel mounted on a supported steel frame.

Plans state the primary purpose of the sign is to "identify and market the site to potential logistics operators who would occupy the site"".

Bericote have announced the project is to be called the M6Major.com development.

No contractors have yet bene confirmed, although fashion chain Boohoo have been linked to the project in the trade press.

The plans for two industrial warehouses at the location were heavily opposed by residents, with more than 2,000 letters of objection written.
